Early in November, 2006, Future Trade launched Fortunella – a sweet red wine specifically blended to satisfy the Pinoy palate.
After extensive research, the brand was introduced to the retail trade in Metro Manila, Cebu and other major cities.
Fortunella’s taste is instantly appealing. Slightly effervescent, the nose is filled with beautiful ripe-fruit aromas and the taste is warm, sweet and very satisfying.
Tastings are being held in major retail outlets throughout the archipelago.
2006 marks the 40th anniversary of the Robert Mondavi winery
In 1966, at the age of 53, a time in life when most people are beginning to slow down and plan for retirement, Robert Mondavi founded the Robert Mondavi winery in Napa Valley, California. Robert's winery was the first new winery to be built in California since the ending of prohibition in the 1930's.
The mission was simple: to prove that California was capable of producing wines as good as the best wines produced anywhere else in the world. His great success right from the beginning allowed him to buy the Cherokee Wine Association in 1978 (renamed Woodbridge), to launch a range of coastal wines in California in 1994 (named Robert Mondavi Private Selection) and to form a joint venture with the Frescobaldi family of Italy in 1995 (producing Danzante wines).
All of these wines are now available in the Philippines through Future Trade International. Email or call us today for more information on Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi, Robert Mondavi Private Selection, Robert Mondavi Napa Selection and Danzante wines.
