Fleur du Cap wines are blended and bottled at the famous Bergkelder in the town of Stellenbosch - the centre of South Africa's premier wine-growing region.

The wines have remarkable concentrations of fruit. The grapes for Fleur du Cap are harvested from different areas of the Coastal Region, each bringing its own unique contribution. Those from high altitude bring lightness and floral notes. Those from the foothills bring more concentrated fruit.

During the ripening season, a cold south-westerly wind comes from the ocean to slow down the ripening of the grapes. The wind balances the effects of the summer sun and ensures an extended ripening season. This gradual ripening of grapes, in turn, allows for optimum development of full fruit flavor.

The range consists of a Chardonnay, Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon. We have also recently added the multi-award winning Unfiltered Chenin Blanc to our range.
