Rosemount Estate was founded in 1969 by Bob Oatley, a leading figure from the coffee industry. The original winery is at Denman in the Upper Hunter Valley, new South Wales.
In a little over 30 years, Rosemount Estate has established itself as one of Australia's leading wineries, producing a selection of fine wines that reflect the riches of the Australian climate and an unswerving dedication to winemaking quality, innovation and style.
The company now has wineries in the Upper Hunter Valley, Lower Hunter Valley and in McLaren Vale, near Adelaide.
Rosemount Estate’s Blend Varietal wines combine classic grape varieties to create wines of great fullness and drinkability. By blending varietals, winemakers believe that they can create a product that is better than the sum of its parts, often making the entire tasting experience much more enjoyable.
